CertainTeed Almond vinyl privacy fence is a great way to get the durability of a vinyl privacy fence, but without the “shine” of a white vinyl. It will hide dirt much more than the white, not be so bright in the sun but still have the lifetime fade warranty, and a 5 year parts and labor warranty.
This was a very unique project. There was an awkward property line and where the privacy was needed the most the ground dropped significantly. Starting with the low spot in the yard with the 8′ Galveston and going to the street with the Chesterfield panels to come down to 6′ and then 4′ high. Headed towards the back of the property with the 6′ Chesterfield then switching to the Lexington to where the fence is not visible from the yard to bring down the cost really helped this project come under budget.
Galvanized steel stiffeners in the bottom rails, cemented into the ground 3′, and a 70 m.p.h. (Lexington) and 90 m.p.h. (Chesterfield & Galveston) wind load rating will ensure the fence will be here for many more years to come.
