Today, Miller Fence specializes in residential, commercial, and industrial fencing solutions across Massachusetts, northern RI & CT. Rick Hopkins

Rick joined Miller Fence in 2017 and has been an integral part of our team ever since. He began his career here in our wood shop, building and fabricating fence materials, and quickly advanced into the role of Shop Supervisor. In that position, Rick managed installation crews, oversaw the yard and deliveries, and handled day-to-day operations—gaining a deep, hands-on understanding of every aspect of our work.

Prior to joining Miller Fence, Rick worked in construction alongside his father, building houses, decks, and completing all types of remodeling projects. That background gives him a well-rounded, practical perspective that carries through to every project he touches.

Today, Rick serves as our Commercial and Lead Residential Estimator, with a primary focus on residential projects. That experience now directly informs his work in commercial estimating and bid take-offs, allowing him to produce accurate, well-thought-out estimates for local, municipal, and government projects.

Joe’s attention to detail, practical knowledge, and familiarity with installation processes make him especially effective in anticipating project needs and identifying potential challenges before work begins. • Chief Purr-tection Officer & Snack Strategist

Nala isn’t just any office cat—she’s a fierce, fluffy force to be reckoned with. She patrols the fence company office with the intensity of a lion…though she occasionally pauses mid-stalk to nap in a sunbeam or sample your lunch.

Skills include intimidating visitors with a single glare, asserting dominance over all chairs, and ensuring no fence goes uninspected (while plotting her next snack attack). She may be a little…well, rotund, but don’t let that fool you—Nala runs this office.
